 Thy Light Is Come (1987 / 2004)

SATB Choir and Organ, with optional Brass and Timpani. Commissioned by Christ Church Episcopal, Nashville, TN. Premiered January 1988. Won Third Place in the Choral Composition Division of the 2012 American Prizes, national awards celebrating excellence in the arts. Performed by the Minneapolis Vocal Consort, November 21-22, 1992. Brass and Timpani added November 2004. Expanded version performed December 11, 12, and 13, 2004 on "The Joy of Christmas" concerts by the Washington (D.C.) National Cathedral Choral Society with the Washington Symphonic Brass, timpani and organ, conducted by J. Reilly Lewis.
